Free parking. Nice renovations. Friendly staff. Security opens just before your flight so there's no need to arrive extra early.
Best airport I've ever used. Modern, clean, and convenient. Also can't beat free parking. Sure there are no restaurants, but it's only 15 minutes from town, and you don't need to get there super early so you can grab something to eat in town. Rumor has it that food service is in the works.
Overall always a good experience. Better than driving all the way to Kansas City. I have flown in/out of this Airport at least 20-30 times per year for the last 5 years and it's always quick. The staff is knowledgeable and nice. TSA lines are super short and quick. They are currently building new terminal so will be even nicer when finished. I would have given 5 stars...but they don't have a cafe/restaurant or any other amenities for breakfast...which is important to me on those early flights.
One one airline, security doesn't open until flights are ready to board, no food options pre-security, no TSA pre-check. Small airport that boasts that it has been recently remodelled, but no options but a $3 iced coffee from a vending machine.
Update - Terminal is complete and very nice! Two jet bridges now. And bigger planes. 4 seats per row instead of 3. Newer and more comfortable. Frequent Flyer and MHK is my fav!
No baggage carts which is unacceptable. No restaurant. Almost all flights are late or even canceled. Worthless.
