Friendly and attentive staff. Was my first time and I was very happy with the experience. I will being go back here for any future medical needs.
This place is great. Dr. Harrison is a superb doctor who listens and understands your needs as a whole person. He is professional, confident, respectful, thorough, and forthright, and empathetic. He demonstrates his technical and personal skills while considering your time just as valuable as his own. Your health and peace of mind are the most important things, investing in them with the ideal doctor is the best thing you can do for yourself. I recommend him and his office to all the families in Manhattan. Don't cut yourself short by going to others.
Performed exams incorrectly, which lead to my test results being inconclusive. They offered a discount to redo the exam, but should have offered the services for free because it was their fault that results were ruined. Will not be coming back.
I've been there is not busy but there is one person one time that was waiting and took 20 min to be seen them akothet 15 before doctor came in? Doctors office I get are like this in a busy office but not the case here. So that's rude . My time is valuable also. Then what set it off was she then proceeds to say I will be charged next time I am late $25 extra and that I was actually suppose to be checked in 15 min prior and that really I was 17 min late which I get a text reminder and the text says apt at x time nothing about this 15 min prior nor staying if I am not I will be charged if you are so strict about this then state that in the apt text and secondly this is set in place for people who are always late I know this because like I said I ran a doctors office... so I happened to be meeting some people for dinner out and they are from manhattan and knew him and said do not go to him he is bad news money hungry doesn't care about anything else but status and money... I was in shock yet relieved my intuition was saying something's not right I was starting to think hmm what am I missing. those opinions who knows but his actions and how the office is being run certainly would lend itself to that. There are several other issues i won't discuss. I just wanted to give my two sense. Super disappointed in how I was treated. I did ask the doctor to call me to discuss. Never called me and this has been 2 weeks now.
This place is great! It starts with the receptionist who was very nice and courteous even when speaking on the phone. The vitals nurse was also very nice and friendly. I saw Dr. Harrison and he is just an amazing doctor. He was very nice, has great bedside manner and is very confident. Definitely recommend Dr. Harrison if you are looking for someone who listens well, treats you well and just overall cares for his patients. Never met a doctor with such a great attitude and care for the ones he treats. Really happy with Manhattan Primary Care and Dr. Harrison!
This is not a great place, they are unethical and all about them not ur health or care. I have NEVER written a review for a doctor in my life because they all have been great no issues. But from day one, they did the bait and switch. I called to find a new doctor because I moved to manhattan and didn't know who to go to. So I based my choices off the reviews. I can tell you after 6 apt that I have been seen by This practice it has never been a good experience. One when I called them to get pricing for there practice they quoted me one price range( I explained my needs) When I checked out price was well over what I was told. I asked for worst case. I pay out of pocket so this was a shock I mentioned this and asked why was it so high she kinda shrugged it off saying I don't make the prices and he must have marked it for that. I asked what why so high, what was marked being done to make it this charge? I know a little bit about coding being I worked in a doctors office as an office manager. She couldn't say she just said well you must have talked about lots of things or had things done. I said no, it was was a short chat, I had my heart rate taken and listened to my weight and height and temp and some questions he asked I answered. I hardly think this is above normal to be charged what I was. No test taken nothing crazy. He asked about why I moved and explained why he decided to open to leave his previous practice and open this one which looking back now what he said should have been a clue not a good guy. He may know his stuff I don't know because he has never really done anything for me just check ins. Every time the price changes and isn't what they say I asked for them
To check and let me know why? Never a response. Then I needed a letter written about my medical history for a reason. And 3 weeks pass nothing so I can to check in and they needed something else from me so I get that to them with in days then I wait another few weeks nothing then I have to call again to check and it took 4 attempts to get this done. Ugh which was not good. The lady at the front seems since but is super fake and she either is not that Intelligent or is passive aggressive. I doubt she is dumb but my point is she was less than helpful and not helpful to the patient at all. The icing on the cake was when I showed up for my last apt before I have decided to NEVER go back. I get there 2 min behind my apt which has never happened but ran into some issues and she says to me oh well the doctor can't see you since you are late we will have to reschedule. Which ok whatever u have to do but keep in mind might I add every time
