I order a tray of wheatgrass about once a month here, because there are no other places near Junction City that sells them.
It is a small co-op in the true sense of the word. Member owned, organic, and quaint. It isn't going to have everything, but the bulk section is quite good. Prices are high, but I guess that is the price you pay for buying both local and organic. They do have smoothies and some soups there daily. It is a nice place to go to support the community.
I never receive calls from staffs and their wheatgrass are ridiculously overprice.

Considering the size of Manhattan, People's is a solid small, local, natural and organize grocery. I usually come for the natural soaps and other beauty and wellness items. The selection is small, but I usually get what I need. I like their deviled eggs as well. They're a great snack. My only complaint is the wait time for the deli. I ordered a pretty basic panini, and I waited a very long time. The girl assembling my sandwich was talking to her coworker the whole time. It was sort of annoying.
