Another thing is that in less than a week 3 of my nails broke, tried calling to see if there was anything they could do and they just talked over me. Horrible customer service. I sit at a desk all day. One of the nails broke off as I was getting a cookie???? I've worked in these type of environments and the number one thing I was told to do was listen to the customer. They must have missed that lesson because he proceeded to tell me that I just must have been too rough as I was explaining and did not give me a chance to speak.
At times I feel this place is unprofessional, eating in front of consumers than not washing their hands also some of their conversations aren't very professional. I love the staff but if you catch them at a busy day they are rude and rush you in and out of there. I went with a friend for his first pedicure and they had both me and him out within 7min (he's wasn't impressed). My manicures consist of just adding lotion nothing special. I once got a bumpy nail polish by accident went the next day and they said they couldn't fix it and just added clear coat and let me leave obviously very unsatisfied. I went one last time and KELSIE saved the day and although it was a fast manicure my nails look perfect! Literally the best looking shellac I've gotten before( so that is why I am giving a 2). I will go back but only to Kelsie for my manicure only.
I got shellack and he only followed up at the end and made sure there was a solid line on some nails. On others he just eyeballed it and now I am left with dripping polish.
Walked in and for my appointment was immediately badgered about whether or not I had an appointment by two separate people. Got seated and had to wait on a nail tech, I waited so long I had to have a reheat.
Google won't let me post with zero stars. Very unprofessional. There was quite a bit of conversation about what is "normal" for biracial people to be mixed with and what is not. As a biracial person, this didn't bother me at first, I mean hey, people have questions and that's fine, but towards the end there it got pretty excessive.
She tooK her time I got the full 45 minutes she didn't get all of my calluses though.
I was in this weekend for a basic pedicure and manicure with polish. No gel or shellac-the glitter on my third finger was the most complicated part of it. I had an appointment, arrived on time, but was rushed through the whole process. My tech's next appointment arrived early but immediately took priority-once her feet were in the water I didn't see my tech again. It has been four days and my nails are already completely chipped. I've had this experience with them before and will not be returning.
All this and I paid nearly $50. I'd NEVER recommend and I'd NEVER go back
I recommend Toes & Tips to everyone! They are extremely friendly and treat me like family. I've been going to them since 2013 and will continue to do so until I move.
I am not sure if I will be returning here.
As I was sitting there the owner FELL ASLEEP in a chair I mean mouth open snoring sleep. Then my nail tech walked off didn't explain the process to me or what she was doing. The scrub is nice; but the lotion is so thick and caked on that I ran my hand down my leg to get water she missed off and the lotion literally balled up.
