How many law firms are in Manhattan, KS? Frankly without a doubt I gaurantee, you could find a better one that is actually qualified to take your case. Lora Ingels sat in the court room texting on her phone. She was looking at m&ms on facebook on her cellphone and giggling to her colleague, while everyone else tried to ignore the noise she was making as the judge took cases. The judge then called her name and asked if she would be willing to take my brothers case. She reluctantly took it. She explained after court that certain cases have priority, in other words, the people she thinks are innocent are more important. Wow. At that time she stated she only had a few other cases. Dont bother working with her if you have any personality traits that may set her off; she'd rather focus on these than her job. She lacks any trace of professionalism. After months of trying to contact her and setting up a meeting, letting her know I live 3 hours away she immediately started yelling and accusing my tone of being off. I was being yelled at and constantly apologizing for whatever it was that may have worked her up. This was after her stating she had 100 cases. I had her repeat herself and she confirmed she has 100 ONGOING CASES. I let her know that really puts things in perspective for me. That sent her up the wall. She then insisted I do whatever it was I needed to do to get her in trouble....I was dumbfounded. We were on two seperate books, not pages. She is obviously not a person, let alone a qualified lawyer that can provide adequate assistance to the ones who need it most. She was unable to put aside her bias for the good of her client. Was absolutely incapable of using any skill she may have learned in school. Handing over money to her in hopes that she has any compassion for your case or cirsumstance is lunacy. I honestly only have speculation as to how a person like this can be allowed to operate as a lawyer. Im following up with her superiors to try to get this resolved as she should not be allowed to accept any more cases.
