We go here to use the achery range. The range is very nice, however the targets need to be repaired and there is only one target rated for crossbows.
Very nice Kansas State Park, open spaces between camping area. Lots if pull through spots that parallel roads. Lots of shade.
Its a great place to camp. but stay away the week before country stampede. and the next couple weeks after till the clean up from the carnage is done and the grounds have a chance to heal from the heavy traffic. even though it brings in alot of money. its a blight on the park. even busy weekends like memorial its no where near as trashed.
I have been here twice this year once with the whole family and once with my hubby! Always clean, always affordable, amazing management! Very nice people pots and pans , dishes , coffee maker most basic things are there as long as you clean up your mess and have respect it is a very nice place. You will want to go back!
This State park was amazing. Its well maintained. The RV spaces are well laid out and spacious. Will definitely go again.
