Carlos O'Calories is Mexican food for people who hate flavor. Literally nothing on the menu is spicy it tastes Mexican in the slightest. The only flavor components they know of are grease, processed cheese, bland starch and old tomatoes. Two stars because their burgers are actually good, but their Mexican choices are not worth spending your money on. If you really want this kind of thing, go to Chili's instead. You'll still be disappointed there, but at least you'll be able to taste your food.
Food was ok, service was great, they was timely and very polite. Ordered a margarita and the glass was dirty, then got another one and that glass was dirty to. The food was not as food as it used to be.
Awesome food, recieved a generious amount of food for the price and the service was outstanding. Our server made sure we head everything we needed and keep our drinks full. My wife and I will definately be going back.
My experience at Carlos O' Kelly's was absolutely terrible, but before I start on my rant, I will say the waiter was polite and helpful. To start, we ordered our food and waited at least 40 minutes for our food. Apparently they had not cooked enough chicken. At this point, the only thing that kept us in our seats was our famished stomachs and the slight possibility that the food might be good. Finally after 40 minutes, our polite waiter brought us our food. The moment the waiter laid the food before us, I dug into my enchilada. I expected something with a variety of tastes, except I was served a dish that was bland. My friends at the table ended up saying the same thing. The manager ended up coming over (still not sure if he was the real manager) and didn't even have the balls to apologize. In the end, we ended up paying way to much for bland tasting food and we did not get any gift card to reimburse our long waiting time. I do not recommend eating here.
If you are looking for a place to have decent tex mex food, do not go here. The wait for food was at least 40 minutes and on top of that the food is very dis-tasteful. It kind of tastes of what a kid would make in their fake play kitchens at home. I would maybe go to lucha or La fiesta where you will find better tasting food and prices.
