Greeted quickly, good served fast. Until demanding a refill however, server did not provide refills on $2 glasses of pop. This after quick appear/disappear to clear plates. As any other places glass is 90% ice so single glass doesn't have much. Shouldn't be that hard to ask if refill is desired or to just do it.
Food is okay but I miss their grits and the other style of bread pudding that I think was way better than what they have now also I'm gonna really miss the crawfish boils. Good drinks and a fun atmosphere but I think that cutting out some of the stuff from their previous menu. But the drinks are great!
My wife got food poisoning from this place.
A place of Cajun and Creole in the Little Apple. I had the catfish and jambalaya and although the catfish was lacking a bit of uniqueness, the jambalaya was not. Perfectly seasoned and spiced without being too spicy. The presence of tomatoes was spot on and well balanced with the sausage. I'd come back for dinner with a few friends for a nice dinner out.
Other than that: great atmosphere, decebrly priced food and good service. Definitely needs better food quality control.
Food was decent/good. I found over the past few weeks that food and drink quality were inconsistent. Service has not been too great. I never had my water refilled and had to proactively ask for another cocktail or beer. Speaking of which, the garnishes for the drinks were gross and often overripe/old. My lime wedge had more brown than green on it, rather, all brown and a speck of green. I would have rather them skip the lime if there were no fresh ones to cut.
