Had a wonderful experience shopping for my engagement ring. I had never ring shopped before and had no clue what I liked. Amber is the woman who helped me and she was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and so so patient! She was careful in not overwhelming me while trying to figure out my preference. My finger is a 9 and showcase standard is 7 so I had a hard time imaging these rings, she had the knowledge of Inventory to know she had a random ring that was a larger size that I might like, and it ended up being the ring I fell in love with! She made sure to explain the integrity of the ring can be compromised if sized up or down more than 1-2 sizes and helped me decide to order in my size verses sizing down the larger one or sizing up the standard.
I would put 0 stars if I could. I will never have anything repaired by them EVER again. I understand they have to ship it off to be repaired; but, I dropped my ring off on June 10th. My engagement ring needed to be repaired. Because my engagement ring fits over my wedding ring I asked if they needed both for sizing reasons, I was told no. The ring was supposed to be back the 23rd. I never heard from them so July 5th I called and they said they did need my wedding ring so I brought that up there and asked when they would have it done. They said they would call me. I didn't hear from them so I went up to the store and was told the 19th. I didn't hear from them yesterday so I called today and they said it will be here Friday, July 22nd. They continually promise to call me back and it never happens. Very disappointed.
Of the few items I have gotten, there has been 100% screw up rate on their part. Not once has anything been ordered and been correct upon receipt. Half the ladies don't know what they're doing and the manager is condescending. Always giving excuses.
They did an awesome job helping my now husband and I. I see all these awful comments and it's truly not how they are. I called in several times and they had the right answer for me every single time. I'm moving soon, and I really hope the customer service in MO I'd as awesome as here in manhattan
There are plenty of jewelry stores in Manhattan: don't go to this one. My wife took my watch in, which she bought here, just to get the leather watch band replaced. Two weeks later we're told that it's going to cost about $200. This is almost the full cost for the watch. The woman I spoke with on the phone said it also needed a gasket replaced. We told them not to fix anything. Three weeks later we get a call telling us that the watch is fixed i.e. the watch band AND the crystal. It was a mistake, they said, and we can either wait another several weeks, have my watch sent back, put the old watchband on OR pay $100 for the new watch band and crystal, and even my old watchband. Keep in mind, we told them not to do anything to it. It's been over a month since I've had my watch. We're tired of messing with this, so now we are just paying $100 to get it back.
