A pissed off citizen of Manhattan!
Way too many petty rules! I felt like the whole two hours we were there we were yelled at. I got whistled at for wetting my hair in the lazy river and again for helping my daughter off of the lily pad. Plus many other occasions. Not a fun experience.
WAY TOO STRICT!!!! Our family felt we were being watched like hawks. Everything we did was wrong in their eyes. We are from a place where adults can bring their kids down a big slide with them. So we felt our kids didn't like being there.
Absolutely worst experience our family has ever encountered! You will have the whistle blown at you for everything! No floaties or goggles in the KIDDIE pool slide because plastic clips apparently can harm the slide and other kids. Can't put your head under water. Can't go on slides if you have the metal rings that drain water from you suit- complete mis management and double standards on rules. Why is a little girl the same age as my friends daughter allowed to go across the Lilly pads with her dad helping but my friends kid cannot? And she was the next kid in line! I speak to the manager and wants me to name the life guards, blah blah blah and offers me a PACKET of rules. If a place that is supposed to be family friendly, why in the hell is there a big packet of rules? I understand a few rules and basic common sense but if you can't even enjoy the pool why even go anymore? And to jack up the price as well for a pool that does not offer what other pools offer and is more expensive! Terrible management Manhattan, terrible "family" fun place to go. Y'all should see how Salina runs things and try to change!!
Awesome little water park with the stingray / wave rider
This pool makes me want to be a kid again! There is so much to do and a lot of staff work there so you can feel good about leaving your children there safely. The wave pool is super cool! Lots of snacks and drinks to pick from and decently priced. It's a little expensive to get in the pool but its well worth it with all the things there are to do.
