When I started looking at locations, hours and prices I was a little hesitant because I am 30 in class with children as young as 7. No biggie though, there are plenty of adults in the mix and my martial arts prowess is much like that of a 7 year old.
Great place to train and learn!!! Instructors are so patient and kind! I've learned so many skills but also have grown mentally and emotionally there.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and make the classes seem to fly by while working up a nice sweat. The academy also does give back to the community with scholarships, and they had two, one week free summer camps which sets them apart from other schools.
This is a place where I felt right away i will become a good mental athlete and leave all negative aspects of life at the door from learning different moves and others social perceptions without ego a well rounded class and atmosphere and a place where you will be able to learn not to just make someone submit but maintain good virtues as well.
My girls love going to class. They have gained a lot of confidence and are learning patience with each class. I love how everyone works with them, you can tell how invested they are in each child.
Our two kids, a boy and a girl, both love Hackerott's. They have both grown in discipline and focus since participating in classes and camps at HLA. And not only the classes, but they put on one heckuva birthday party. Mr. Master Hackerott's ability to lead and control any size group of kids is quite incredible. We attended a birthday party hosted there that had 30+ kids under the age of 10. And it was smooth sailing for the entire 90 minutes. If you're looking for a place to host a party or a class that will help your kids grow in their discipline, look no farther.
